Lunch meetings are held on the month at various locations in Galena. Board meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 8:15 a.m. at U.S. Bank, Perry Street.

4TH ANNUAL PWI BOOTH EVENT

On Thursday April 15th PWI held its 4th Annual Booth Event at Midwest Medical Center.  This is a business expo for PWI members allowing them to showcase their businesses.  This year there were 23 booths on display.  Approximately 125 people attended the event.  Thank you to all who participated and attended.  A good time was had by all!

I would like to mention a special thank you to the Booth Event Committee members, Judy Reedy, Sue Berning, and Jackie Richardson.

I'm Karin Strenski, your Director of Programs for PWI. My main responsibility is to obtain speakers for our monthly meetings. Most of the leads and ideas I've received have been from our members. Since there are a number of new members, I'd like to share our programming philosophy. Each month, we feature a 45 minute presentation from a guest speaker. 

Keep in mind topics that do three things: 1) are of interest to a cross section of women in our community/PWI membership, 2) can be entertaining or educational for a 45-minute time span, and 3) will benefit the attendees in their professional or personal lives. 

If you've heard a good speaker, please feel free to send me their contact information. If you would like to present to the group, please send me a description of your topic. If you have an idea for a topic, please also let me know! This is your group! "
